Team Training
Before Kaizen Institute came in, we had many teammates with CI experience, and they were utilizing various tools already, but they were not unified. Partnering with KI formalized MCP’s approach to our continuous improvement initiatives with uniform tools and language.
I have been deeply inspired by the entire KAIZEN™ methodology since I began to understand this process of small improvements that enhance day-to-day work.
The hardest part is not explaining the model, it is conveying the experience of having lived it. The tools can be documented, but the mindset behind them cannot be learned from a manual.
For us, success isn’t just about hitting KPIs. It’s about creating a culture where improvement is embedded in everything we do.
We use the Hoshin Kanri methodology to execute an annual strategy across the company, cascading it into sub-strategies within different departments, which are in turn deployed across various management boards.
We significantly improved customer service level, given the reduction in errors we now have, and it far exceeded our expectations for efficiency gains in the organization. It was, without doubt, a very successful project.
