António Costa is Chief Executive Officer of Kaizen Institute Global, based in Zug, Switzerland, a role he has held since 2022. He is also a Senior Partner at Kaizen Institute Western Europe, covering the UK, France, Spain, and Portugal.
He joined Kaizen Institute in 2008 as Director of Kaizen Institute Iberia and later served on its Board. His expertise covers Lean Manufacturing, Operational Excellence, value stream mapping, and the Toyota Production System. He holds a degree in Industrial Management and Engineering from the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto (FEUP).
He writes a column on business transformation, where he argues that culture is built through behavior repeated daily on the Gemba, rather than through tools alone.
