Dan Chartier

Dan Chartier is Managing Director and Partner at Kaizen Institute North America, based in Phoenix, Arizona. He joined Kaizen Institute in 2014 as President of Kaizen Institute Canada and has held his current role since 2016, providing hands-on leadership across the business, from strategy to execution.

For more than 20 years, he has helped organizations in construction, food production, oil and gas, and manufacturing turn operational challenges into lasting performance improvement, leading global-scale projects across Europe, South America, Africa, and Asia. Before joining Kaizen Institute, he held project management roles at McCain Foods, ABB, where he was Director of the Project Management Office, and Devon Energy.

Working directly with client teams, he and his team apply Lean and KAIZEN™ methodologies to build a culture of continuous improvement. He believes sustainable results come from strong processes, clear standards, and teams that understand what good looks like, rather than from a few key individuals carrying the weight.
