Give leaders a live view of the metrics that matter.
A transformation that isn’t led from the top doesn’t last long anywhere else
Leaders’ KAIZEN™ is built on a different premise: that sustainable transformation requires leaders who are visibly and actively involved, not just in setting direction, but in practicing improvement themselves. Through our leadership effectiveness consulting, we work with top management to develop the behaviors, routines, and gemba presence that make improvement real at every level of the organization.
Leaders’ KAIZEN™ Planning
Cultural change happens when people start seeing opportunities on their own and acting on them without being asked. There is no exact moment when that occurs, but when you see it, you recognize it. It is the most reliable indicator that the model has truly taken root.
Before Kaizen Institute came in, we had many teammates with CI experience, and they were utilizing various tools already, but they were not unified. Partnering with KI formalized MCP’s approach to our continuous improvement initiatives with uniform tools and language.
Beyond the cycle time improvement the team achieved, we now have a consistent changeover process, regardless of operator, and instilled a trust from our workforce that optimizing procedures saves time while making the job easier and less stressful for them.
Achieving these results reflects the discipline and dedication of our people and the momentum we are building through AviusULD Ascend.
Our partnership with Kaizen Institute was essential to our operational transformation, fostering a continuous improvement culture focused on the end customer. We were able to reinvent our processes, grow efficiency, and focus our teams on what truly adds value.
[KAIZEN™ projects] leave a long-lasting, structured problem-solving methodology that teams can use in the future.
It addresses the gap between managing results and improving them: leaders trapped in firefighting and meetings, performance that depends on constant supervision, decisions made far from where work happens, and improvement initiatives that stall without senior attention. The program redesigns how leaders spend their time, building routines that develop teams instead of substituting them, with leadership effectiveness measured on business results.
Coaching and development programs build individual awareness and skills; Leaders’ KAIZEN™ changes the leadership system around them. Leaders build and practise their own leader standard work: gemba walks, structured reviews of team performance, coaching kata, and problem-solving routines applied to their real agenda and KPIs. The result is a repeatable way of leading that survives leadership changes.
Less than most expect, because the routines replace existing activity rather than add to it. Time spent reacting to escalations, chasing information, and sitting in status meetings is progressively converted into short, structured routines on the gemba. Most leaders stabilize their standard work within a few hours per week, with agendas becoming more predictable, not less.
Typically: leaders present at the point of work with a defined purpose, faster escalation and resolution of obstacles, more consistent performance dialogues across levels, and visible reinforcement of improvement behaviours. These leading indicators translate into harder measures over time, as teams stop waiting for decisions and problems stop climbing the hierarchy.
